Rousham House
Gardens to Visit in the UK
Rousham was designed by William Kent following a framework made by Charles Bridgeman in the 1720s. It is full of follies, statuary and grottoes. In the woodland, a beautiful, sinuous rill leads down into a series of cascading pools. There is also a formal walled garden with wide herbaceous borders, espalier apples, a dovecote, rose garden and a kitchen garden. Read more »
